congrats to shawn, although I am fairly new I have always found his insights to be educational and thought provoking, If you ever need a guest editorial or column writer on a part time basis to fill in some empty pages on flex brakus or me are your men, we both have exeptional knowledge of the sport and are able to clearly communicate without sacrificing humor or wit, and most importantly we have the ironage philosphy in our blood and we work for cheap.

I've driven in NY, Boston and L.A. I think L.A. drivers are the worst of the three cities, maybe not by much, but I got that impression. EVERYONE talks on their cellphones while driving now!!! I was thinking, if the Guv wanted to make that illegal he could fill the stat coffers on moving violation tix alone! When I was in Miami for the Nationals I had a car. I came just about the closest to being killed while driving that I can remember. I was in the right hand lane of I-95 going pretty slow as it was pouring rain when a pickup came from four lanes over to cut me off to make an exit ramp. I fishtailed all over the place as I slammed the breaks. One day I'll get T.J. back for that one. me and my girlfriend moved to southern cali before and she was from the stix and almost had a heartattack when she had to get behind the wheel,i drove in all the places you just mentioned Shawn and have found southern cali to be the worst driving place on the friggin planet(no more pub transportation dude, sux),i once asked my Latino buddys of why drivers sucked there and they said half of the people driving there are coming out of Mexico with no licenses i think the speed limit is like 70 so the average speed is over 80 with super trucks ridin up your ass,my girlfriend is laughing here man and says good luck and she'll say a prayer for you dude ,you might want to invest in a large SUV for safety purposes but youll spend half your check on gas, good luck in Cali man as its a different world out there and try and not get overwhelmed with the crazys, theres a lot of beautiful landscape in the area, like San Fran and San diego has nice places to relax when not working, have fun brother

LA traffic is horrible. I'm in San Diego but listen to LA radio stations. They are constantly reporting one mess after another. Traffic in SD and SD county is much better. I go up to LA just frequently enough that it is always fresh to me. So it's never a hassle. You can get alot of phone business done in traffic jams anyway. Ventura county, which is above LA isn't that bad. Traffic wise or safety wise.

Your right, Californian's IQs drop 60 points when it rains.
I think this freeway traffic lane is sexist!

Good bye and good riddance. Is everyone going to kiss your B***. Only kidding. I hope every thing works out and you live out your goals. Doing what you love for a living is a dream come true. I have read your mission type statement and I will adhere. I promise not to debate or argue with anyone. I will be sensitive to others feelings.
You have made a fun site to have some enjoyable leisure time between work and training.

I knew it was going to happen. Quality prevails.
Ever since that PI party article, you've been adding value to FLEX.

Hi Shawn! I'm glad that you brought up these remarks and most people don't realize that over the years all the champions we see have worked hard to carve their place in Bodybuilding history. Bodybuilding is one of the most difficult sports in the world. Everyone cannot be perfect on the day of the competition nor pleasing everyone at shows due to stress. It may be easy for fans to point fingers and be negative about the current and past Physiques . It takes a lot of guts to get on stage today and pose with brief posing trunks. I commend you Shawn on your fabulous Website and we need this motivation.I've been training very hard lately and love bodybuilding and believe that negativity and negative opinons of others will only hurt only yourself. I became a IFBB Champion because I never let negative people stop or destroy me and only take it as a compliment since they cannot succeed .Once again, I salute to all my great peers of bodybuilding. I'm going to the gym now to bomb my back and chest. Shawn and the staff- Keep up the great work. My best LOU FERRIGNO
