Nutrition after an evening workout
« on: February 19, 2010, 01:10:56 am »

Wonder if any of you can help me out...
The most covenient time for me to workout at the moment is around 8 p.m. Yes you're right, this isn't all that convenient a time to be working out! Obviously this means I'm ending up eating my post workout meal pretty late. What is best to eat at this late hour seeing as I'm heading to snoozeland not long after?
My blood pressure is quite high at the moment so don't want to do anything that makes it worse.
Thanks

Stay away from the salt James.

Any Salt, No salt until your BP come down to 130/60 or something like that.

MY BP is around that most of the time.

Cottage cheese mixed with fruit..........Could be fresh fruit or various dried fruits. Just don't stuff yourself before bed time.
