Didn't get to the gym or cycle after Monday. Spent the week working on Orchids & Roses.

Weather has been in the mid 90's all week, got a "very" light rain yesterday, the first rain of the years.

Still have a little more to do but I'll be back in the gym/bike Monday for the week. Just had to put the flowers first this week.

Got a three foot straw hat and I'm telling the locals "My Name is Jose Mayonnaise" (I drive the locals crazy with my BS)

Well, no more gym. I’m tired of kids in the gym, being stared at, asked for help witch takes my time and then they don’t do anything I show them.
I have a full gym at home and that’s where I’ll workout at from now on. Maxim dumbbells 35# but I have a machine that goes up to 120# and a full set of Olympic plates so I’ll do OK here and the only person I have to put up with is me. (Thank you Lord)

I’ll miss the Hyperextension

Good Friday Workout,

Did a fair workout today, cold is still hanging on and my nose is running around everyplace.

I have used the machine this week because I just didn't feel like moving plates and being in the sun, I was just Lazy!!!

This weekend I am going to put together a full body workout that I may like better and then I am going to get back after the plates and dumbbells and be a good boy.

Left shoulder has been sore all week but today it felt much better on the one arm cable cross overs. Still put Ben-Gay even if it doesn't help I smell like a jock!

OK, I've got to feed the flowers, talk with them and maybe play them a little Classical Cello by The Yo-Yo ma.

Morning, cold still hanging on but I took two Tylenol to stop the nose from running.

Did my Yoga, Crunches and Leg Raises.

Did two sets around light weight on my new workout.

My wife cooked some great stuff last night and I ate a mess of it around 9:30 pm with SOY SAUCE (SALT) and today my BP was out of site (176/80/51) I normally run about 110/60/50 so this was very up setting until I remembered the soy sauce. Had Pepsi Max also.

My weight is still around 237 so I need to work harder on this and I will.

Got the Yankees and Boston game on the computer radio. Curtis just hit a home run @ his first at bat as a Yankee.

Life's wonderful, I will get back in control!!

Cardio Day,

Great 20-mile ride.

20 miles, 1:45 minutes, avg sped 11.46

Just coming back after three weeks being sickly with the flu.
BP went way up Sunday to 176/80 so worked hard to keep my HR around 125 today until I get in better shape again. Last ride I had to work to get my heart rate up to 130.

BP after ride (right now 146/75/81 temp is 93.6 @ 10:30am.

I’ll do better Thursday.

Good News,
Just about over the cold, thank you lord.
Dad News,
This new full body workout may be just a little more then I want to do.

Outside temp. is 88f @ 9am

Did about half the workout, keep good form but just ran out of juice after doing my Back.

I’ll hang with this workout until Friday next week and see how I’m doing and how I feel. It could just be the end of the flu/cold. Sure found a few hurts in my legs today, didn’t have them Monday but my legs were a little tired after the ride yesterday.

I’ll hang with this another week.

Enjoying the Yankees baseball game.

Burr - When doing a full body workout you need to keep your exercises to one or two per body part and your sets to 2-3 none higher. As you adapt to this routine you will be able to cope better. So easy does it.

Went to the Dermatologist yesterday!

After a life in the sun it’s time for the long sleeve white shirts.

I got lots of nice red spots so I accept it’s time.

Wife can go get me a dozen of cheap white shirts Friday when she goes to town.

People ask me why I attend church, it’s because I do my own mechanic work and I need to be forgiven for the things I say.

My Saturday brake adjustment turned into a rear brake job. No problem getting the shoes off and getting new liners Saturday.
I try not to do anything Sunday but church and time with my wonderful wife so first thing on Blue Monday before it got to hot I got started putting the shoes back on, should be 30 minutes, yea sure.

After cussing the shoes on one side (about an hour of trying this way and that, forgot how they looked when I took them off “Jap Crap”) I went to the other side to discover that someone had moved the pickup over to about 18 inches of the wall (I know I wasn’t that stupid) so I squeezed my big weight lifting chest in between the pickup and the wall, I tried laying down and working that way, I moved pass the wheel well and nothing was easy even if I knew how this side went but after a lot of well chosen words about the pickup, the brake parts, the heat (about 94 by now) and a few words about why me lord I got the SOB together and it works, I hope!
After a nice bath (hot water and lots of soap) a nice lunch (boiled shrimp & crab with my great red sauce) and a world-class nap I woke up so sore I had to work to get out of bed..
So much for being in great shape, big lifter and all that crap I had to hit the Ibuprofen big time and will keep the bottle close tonight.

Tomorrow is Cardio day, painting the library with a 14-foot ceiling. Then I can stain and varnish the bookcases. My wonderful wife always makes sure I have something to look forward too.

Ate some bad food last Monday and spent the week close to the little room or in bed with every joint in my body hurting.
Today is the best day yet and I think I can get back to the workout tomorrow..

I am going back to a three day routine and I am going to do as much as I can on my machine. I'll use plates for the back and dumbbells for curls but the rest I am going to do in the carport. It's in the 90's by 9am. Pollen is flying around every where and I'm tired.

Remember, I just want to stay big and hard.

First day back after a very good case of food poisoning.

Man am I going to have the DOMS tomorrow, already shaking.

I did a full body workout on the machine, medium weight and high rep's "VOL" and it looks like that is what I'll have to do if I stay on the machines but, that's OK.

I had to make myself go workout but once I got going I just keep going, no problem.

The temp was 93f when I started and 96f when I finished. Thank God for a fan. Machine is in the carport so I could stay away from the sun and didn't have to wear the white shirt.

I'll be ready Wednesday and I may try to cycle tomorrow even if it's hot. Looks like we have a storm coming in a few days, maybe we can get some rain.

OK, every body have a happy!

Nice full body workout on the machine.

I enjoyed and had a nice pump and feel good. Feet and ankles look good and I'm loaded with Tylenol for joint pain. (Think Arts getting a hold on me.)

Did six things for five sets & 15 rep's

I'll be ready for Monday and looking forward to it.
