Not anymore, Paul. Still training consistently and maintaining decent shape, but my dieting days are behind me, I think. On average I'm getting into the gym about 5-6 times per week.

I see you're preparing for yet another competition ... 19 weeks out? Are you planning on doing anything different this time?

Yes, last year I lost 30lbs in 18 weeks and felt a bit rushed. After consulting with a few Natural Pro's I have decided I will diet much slower this year. I have also been able to lose fat doing less cardio and eating more food this year. My current diet it 270p, 240c, 55f. Last year I started my diet at 190 carbs and 5 days of cardio. So far I am only doing 4. I am also doing a refeed every 5th day of 340 carbs. It's a learning process and last year I learned alot.

I am glad to hear you still hit the gym...and quite often!

I just spent a few days in LA and hit up Gold's in Venice. What an amazing place. The weather, people and life style are just amazing. Here are a few pics from the trip.

Bike Riding through Venice to the gym.

Bodybuilding famous yes...Gunther Shlierkamp was there, Chris Cormier and Will Harris. In the past I have seen Silvio Samuel and got to speak with him through a friend. It's just a cool place!

I totally agree, check out that sky, not a cloud to be seen. It's definitely on my list of things to do (I'm forcing myself to watch reruns of 'Baywatch' to prepare)  Kiss

By the way, the physique is looking good Paul, nice balance.

Update Pictures. Bodyweight is 219. 18 weeks out.

The last two are of my girlfriend Misty who is competing for the first time in 12 weeks. We met with Nicole Weeks on Sunday and she really helped Misty get her mind ready for what's to come. I am also pretty happy with where I am at. I actually have been really strong lately and will be starting power workouts in the coming weeks

Here is an update to my contest prep. I am now 10 weeks out and about 211lbs. I still feel really strong and this long slow approach to the contest has been great. Some hunger and low energy thus far but nothing to bad. I am currently lifting 5 days a week, doing 2 light cardio sessions and two high intensity. I am sure to be increasing cardio a bit as I get closer. My current diet is 200c\260p\50f with a refeed once a week of 330c\240p\40f.

Don't be alarmed it's a Henna Tatoo. I like to get them when I am on the beach from time to time.
