I am continuing to be curious about the prize awarded upon winning the NABBA Pro Universe.
If it is money, how much?
After checking with some people I thought would have the answer, the closest anyone would guess is about $2,000. Anyone here know for sure?

What I heard was the NABBA pro Universe cash is $2,000.
I have emailed an official connected to NABBA, but no response.
Can you imagine the cash prize for the Olympia being this difficult to discover? The anti-Weider brigade would come full assualt. Against whom do we charge for this info?

Back in the late 80's when Charles Clairmonte was the NABBA King I'm sure one year there was £10,000 up for grabs and Charles won his first Pro Universe title in 1988, and subsequently in 1989 and 1990 too. For the life of me I can't remember who sponsored it then though. Subsequent years NABBA have struggled to get the prize money and I understand John Citrone of Peak Body has sponsored it in the past. The NABBA Amateur Universe gets bigger and bigger with around 150 entries last year, maybe that should be pointed out Joe - so I've done it for you.

Good! Maybe one of the 150 will have a clue about what the pro prize some of them are aiming toward is?

Received a reply from a highly placed British source, who has no idea what the amount for the prize is. This is a man I ASSUMED would be privy to the info.
Imagine if the IFBB's top contest prize was this difficult to bloodhound down.
The next step, when I have time, will be to contact recent/former winners to see if they are privy to the info
Even when the WBBG was offering amounts less than $15 for bodypart awards, it was a publicized amount. It is beginning to dawn on me that the cost of discovering this info may be a figure higher than the prize itself
