tnx Vince for the response and help..i was just wondering why there are different body types between powerlifters..i mean there are strong lifters who are skinny guys.is it because of pure diet?genetics?light category purposes? So its better at train like a powerlifter..and eat like a bb..

The power lifter that helped me for a time, in the late 80's, taught me to drop back 20 pounds when you stall, and ramp back up 5 pounds a week to blow past your sticking point. I was told to "smoke" the lift, never strain. They did 12 week progressive cycles up in weight, then backed down 5 pounds each lift until you reach 80 percent, to restart the cycle over. Just my 2 cents, one of these guys did a 550 pound bench, a friend of mine, Mike Ferentelli. The other gentleman who taught me the program at the time, Kent Harriman, has since passed, but never forget what he taught me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaCXHjxW1qM

My pleasure Vince, Mike Ferentelli is a great human being, and I was on a bodybuilding team with his father, Joe, another powerlifter who turned to bodybuilding. Mike competed in BB one time that I know of. The last time I saw Mike was in the late 90's whe nI worked in the local corrections as a control room operator. He pulled me in his office for a little chat, and let me tell you, he was huge! PS your looking awesome yourself Vince, lean, built, healthy and fit!
