I am sure Ive mentioned this before  on this board, if I have forgive me. I was John Citrone training partner when he beat Freddie in the NABBA  Universe. When we met and talked to Freddie after the show we asked him about his protien intake, and he said who needs protien when you have Dianabol

You grapple and try to pin the other guy.  Simple.  Where have you been Ken?

I was just back to Minnesota a few weeks ago to visit family and I ran into the owner of my old gym. He had said that Freddy Ortiz had come in a few times in the last year.I was in a rush and didnt have time to pick his brain. I have never known him not to be credible. Hope this helps.

I just received an e mail from Dan Lurie and he stated Freddy was going to be a judge at the Mr & Mis Jones beach contest being held on Aug. 24 2008 in NY.

The above shot while bulked up tells me that he had one of the greatest physiques of all time. He has a V-taper that the short Australian fellow( sorry, I blanked on his name Lee ??) simply does not have.

Yes, Lee Priest. A tremendous amount of muscle but he is blocky without the taper and the shape of Freddy.

Priest had quite the v-taper in his younger days. I haven't seen a current lat spread. here's Priest at 22 and a few years later. Both pre-tattoo.

Mark,

I did not know Lee looked like this. This is a case where a person did not get a better physique by getting bigger. Hey, that is an Iron Age moment.

I have always like Ortiz' build, but Priest is incredible.  Yes, he is short and doesn't have the most pleasing lines, but man oh man, he has developed a set of arms that would make Larry Scott envious.   His forearms make Popeye's look like twigs.
